Green Group and Orange Group have been skip counting in 2s. They worked out the pattern by playing a game together.
We wrote numbers 1-16 on cards. Each person took a number and got in order. We then made a pattern with our cards - hide, show, hide, show, hide... This made the skip counting in 2s pattern. We made other skip counting patterns too.
We also changed our hundred chart to show what skip counting in 2s looks like.
Green Group found an interesting video to help them skip count in 2s all the way to 30! Please help us practice this at home.
Orange Group loved this video with a monkey! They jumped up and down and followed all the actions until they reached 100.
