Community participation

One of our friends was wearing her special WW100 poppy badge today. She was so proud to wear it to remember soldiers and nurses who were in the war.

Wearing a poppy is one way we can join in and participate in community events. It helps us to feel that we belong, and shows that we care about what is happening in our world. Participating is one of the Key Competencies that we learn at school in order to help us become good citizens.

We are allowed to wear a poppy to school every day this week as we learn more about Anzac Day and what it means.

Do you like this sweet poppy made especially for Ms Bland by Mrs Limbrick?!
