Our friend is passionate about keeping the world clean and beautiful so he has been made Room 21's 'milk monitor'. He checks to see if we are folding our milk boxes correctly. At the moment our friend is making a poster to help teach others how to fold the boxes properly.
Our friend explained his poster to the class and told them that captions will be added to the poster before it goes on display.
Another friend stood up and explained the importance of recycling to our planet.
We thought hard about what our world would be like if we continued to leave rubbish around. We thought it would be more than messy. It would also be smelly!
One thing we can do to help our earth is to stop using plastic cling film to wrap our food. Instead, we could use a special wrapper coated in beeswax, like this one from our friend's lunchbox.

Right now I am in India and everywhere there is so much rubbish. I am so glad that we are into recycling to keep NZ beautiful
