Chinese New Year

Ms Tan told us the story of the zodiac calendar. There are lots of animals in the story! She taught us the names of the animals in Chinese Mandarin. 

Brayden's mum helped too. She taught us a Chinese song that can be sung to wish our friends and families good luck for the new year. 

This year it will be the year of the sheep.

Brayden's mum brought a special craft for us to do. We had to fold some paper a special way, then cut it.

When we opened it up, it spelt a Chinese word!
