Tracing around shapes

To help our fine motor skills develop we made a piece of shape art.  We had to trace around some plastic shapes. It was good for us to hold the shape steady with one hand while drawing around it with the other hand.  Our picture looked better if we overlapped the shapes. It was interesting to look at the new shapes we made when we did that!  We could name some of the newer shapes but some we couldn't. We learnt that some shapes are called polygons.
