More medals

This week Miss Bland showed us some replica war medals that her great uncles earned for serving in World War 1.

The medal on the left is called the 1914-15 Star and it is for soldiers who were in battles during 1914 and 1915. The silver medal in the middle is called The British Medal. It has the head of King George on it. The golden medal on the right is called The Victory Medal and has lady victory on it to symbolize peace. This medal was given to the allied forces when the war was won.
