Today a Swim Safe instructor came to teach us how to put a life jacket on while in the water. She said that sometimes people go out in a boat but forget to put on their life jacket first. If they get thrown overboard for some reason they need to be able to put a life jacket on in the water.
Here is our friend lying down on the life jacket, pretending to be in the water.
Next, he rolls over onto his back,
puts his arms into the jacket,
zips it up,
and buckles up.
He's safer now!
