Listening to The Last Post

Next Monday morning we will have a Remembrance Ceremony to remember soldiers who died during World War 1.  A bugler will be coming to play The Last Post.  We listened to it.  It sounded slow and sad.

The Last Post

After the playing of The Last Post there will be one minute of silence where we will remember all the soldiers who have served during the war, then the bugler will play Revielle which is a happier piece of music.

We read a story called 'Grandad's Medals.  It helped us understand why we are having a Remembrance Ceremony on Monday.
