Kapa Haka

Our teacher read to us this story 'Kapa Haka' by Katerina Te Heikoko Mataira. Kerena joins the Kapa Haka group in her school. Some of us are like her; we join the Kapa Haka group in our school too. The book tells us how Kerena performs for visitors and the school community. 

We also watched some Kapa Haka performances on YouTube this afternoon. They gave us an idea of what we can expect when we watch the Te Whanau O Te Waka Huia Kapa haka group this Friday.
