Thinking about numbers

Some of us spent our Math session thinking about numbers that add together to make 10. We played a matching game. If we picked up two cards and they added up to make 10, we got to keep the pair! It was good practice to try remembering facts for 10.

We also practiced writing numbers sentences. We were given a card with some cakes on it. We had to work out how many more cakes we needed to make ten.
