Taking charge of our learning

It's great when students have the opportunity to be a leader as it provides a chance for them to consolidate their learning. Here, one of our friends pointed to the words while the rest of the group read the poem. He did a great job!


Thinking about the word ending -ing will help some of us read words quicker. Here is the activity we did today to practice spelling words ending with -ing. 


One boy in the photo above took the initiative to ask the teacher to put a word on his Sight Words poster so that he could learn it. That's a great example of someone who has the drive to learn! Well done Levi! We're very proud of you!
