This afternoon Room 22 listened for the beat in different types of music. In some pieces of music the beat stayed the same but in others it changed and became slower or faster. We also had lots of fun making our own beats with our bodies.
Room 21 students explored beat too! They used some simple instruments to keep a beat. Even our visitors from England joined in! Each child took a turn to be the leader while all their friends copied them. This was the highlight of the day for most of us.
