Animal's ears and other news

Ivo came back to visit us today and shared some reseach he had done on the weekend. He was finding out what kind of ears birds have, and why elephants have such big ears. We found out that birds, fish, elephants, and lynx have ears, but snakes and lizards don't. They 'hear' through vibrations.

Some of our other friend's shared news today too. We heard about  a fun ice skating trip, dinner with nainai (grandma in Chinese), and about visiting the beach!

We practiced asking questions starting with a variety of question-words. You can see by the tally chart below (recorded by Josh) that we are good at asking 'why' and 'did' questions, and now we need to practice using the other question-words.
