We planted a feijoa tree in the garden

Blog title by Harry and Holly
Blog post written by Room 22

We planted a tree yesterday and it was a feijoa tree. It was fun. First we dug a big hole. We took turns and we used a big shovel. We dug the hole deeper and deeper and deeper. While we were digging the hole, Charlie, Harry, Sione, Marcus, Shivani, Elliott, Grace and Devashree helped to fetch the soil from the heap of soil at the court. Then we pulled the wrapper off the feijoa plant and put it in the big and deep hole. Next, we covered the hole with the soil we dug out and the soil we fetched in our pails from the court. Finally, Nina stamped on the soil in her gumboots. Mrs Turner came to give us a comment about our planting. She said that our plant will have feijoas when we are eight years old. She said Ka Pai to us. We did a good job.
