Getting faster at adding

Our teachers want us to become faster at adding. They are playing adding games with us to help us improve. 

Most of us know know how to put the largest number in our heads, then add on the second number, but many of us are not making numbers quickly using our fingers. 

Some of us practiced making a number quickly using out fingers. Our teacher asked us, "Show me... 8." 

"Show me... 3."

Making numbers with one hand is much easier than making them with two hands, so we must do more practice at home and at school.
