Adding like a pirate

Most of us have had a lot of practice with adding this week. Today some of us watched a video about pirate adding, then practiced working out word problems using things a pirate likes!

Then we got into two pirate groups and tried to get as many treasures as we could by adding 2 numbers together by counting on.

These were the treasures we pirates managed to get with our super adding skills.
