During the first block we went to Jump Jam, then practiced handwriting. Today we were working on forming letters a, g and d correctly.
In second block we listened to an interesting story called 'Peacock Girl'. It was the story of a girl who lived during the Chinese Cultural Revolution. We felt sorry for her because she was not allowed to go to her dance school.
We illustrated a poem called 'Sparkle'. Jiya and Komail did the best illustrations today and earned a treat for their efforts!
After lunch we measured how long our feet are using cubes, then in the last block we spent some time outdoors. Some of us climbed the big trees and some of us did some PE with Mr Philpotts.
It was a long, hot day. We're ready for a restful weekend!
