Christmas around the world

Room 21 has been learning how Christmas is celebrated around the world. They found out that diyas are not only used at Diwali in India, but are also used at Christmas!

In Russia, an old grandma called Babushka delivers presents to children at Christmas rather than Santa. 

In some countries they celebrate Christmas on a different date!

The students made Christmas tree decorations by colouring the flag of their nationality and pasting it on a tree in the classroom.
