Champion Writer

This week we have been writing about a favourite thing we did during the holidays. To make our story the best we could, we planned it in three parts. The first part was telling our audience when and what happened briefly, then in the middle section we elaborated on what happened. At the end we shared how we felt about the experience. 

It took us three days to plan, write and then make our stories better. Today we heard Holly's amazing holiday story...

On the weekend I went to the zoo with my mum and we saw a tiger and a hippo.  They were playing in the water and one was eating. And we saw a flamingo too. And we had pizza too. We had an ice cream. Then we said "Bye!" to the animals. I felt really happy. 

What made Holly's story amazing was that she went back and added more detail to her story. She even included some speech!
