We have been thinking about opposites this week in our poem of the week. Today we thought of these opposites:
Empty & full
Fat & thin
Off & on
Low & high
Terrible & great
Writing
Today we wrote about our families.
After lunch we had Music with Mrs Sadgrove. She explained that Diwali was a special celebration and that there is a story to go with it. She read us the story of Christmas so now we know why we celebrate this special holiday too. We sang a Christmas song. Next time we visit Mrs Sadgrove, she will teach us a dance to go with it!
During the last block we worked on our colouring-in competition while the teachers did some testing and gathered information for our reports.
It was a busy day!
