Sydney's family donated a pohutukawa tree called 'Maori Princess' which we thought was cute! A few Maori princesses from the class helped to pat the soil around the roots.
Sydney is looking forward to watching the Maori Princess grow up! One day she might have children at Arahoe School who like playing in her tree!
