Sharing our Treasures

Today we brought some treasures to share with our class. Claire brought a vessel flute from China. The 'Xun' is one of the oldest musical instruments in China and has been in use for 7000 years. It is usually made of clay, bone or ceramic. The 'Xun' has three finger holes in front and two thumb holes at the back with a small blowing hole at the top. We thought it was a wonder flute or an egg flute or an air flute. One of us thought a chicken could be inside it like an egg.

Kerisha brought the treasure from her garden. She requested for us to switch off the lights because the worms don't like light. We had to put them back into the box of soil so that they will be comfortable throughout the day.

Arnav shared with us his drawings of the truck. He told us that it has a special antennae and a hook to help tow cars in trouble away.
