Learning about rhyming

We've been listening to lots of poems and stories with rhyming words in them.  Now, if our teacher says a word, we can find another one (or more) to rhyme with it. 

We had to cut out some pictures this week and find the two things that rhymed.

 

We know that boat rhymes with goat,

sun rhymes with run,

hat rhymes with cat, and

balloon rhymes with moon!
