We were surprised because the book is about a 'wildcat' called Fifi la Belle who sometimes is a lovely placid cat who lives in a cafe in Parnell. On other ocaisions she is a naughty cat who gets into lots of mischief! Once, Fifi la Belle snuck into the Auckland Museum and got caught by the guard!
We talked about some children in Room 18 that might be a 'wildcat' like Fifi la Belle in some way. We also thought that Miss Walker might be an example of a 'wildcat' kind of person!
