Celebrating Mr Limbrick's anniversary

This weekend marks the 20th anniversary of Mr Limbrick's arrival at Arahoe School. We celebrated by wearing clothes that reflected his love of the ocean.  At our special assembly Caleb stood up on behalf of our class to say "I like Mr Limbrick because he gave me a sticker when I wrote a good story."

The staff gave Mr Limbrick a present. It was a little waka to symbolize that we're part of a great team and have a strong leader. The children all helped to make a giant scrapbook to congratulate our principal for 20 years of hard work. At the staff morning tea he cut a special cake that had a picture of his boat on it!

Here is the scrapbook page that we made with Room 20.
