Weaving

After reading the story 'The Kuia and the Spider' we talked about how the kuia (old woman) weaved mats and kits out of harakeke (flax) to help her family.  We decided to weave our own mat out of paper!  Most of us could manage going over and under well.  What was a bit tricky was to alternate each row.
